The Sahara Forest Project is a synergistic combination of environmental technologies to enable restorative growth: revegetation and creation of green jobs through profitable production of food, freshwater, biofuels and electricity. The Sahara Forest Project is founded on the premises that we need a more holistic approach towards tackling challenges related to energy, food and water security. Sundrop Farms and Sahara Forest Project AS have established a long-term close cooperation to focus on knowledge sharing and exploring the potential for integrating the parties’ technologies. With Sahara Forest Project, we are executing a joint program for testing and optimization of the Sundrop Farms technology in a Sahara Forest Project setting.
The UCL School of Energy and Resources, Australia (UCL SERAus) is an integral part of UCL, one of the foremost academic institutions in the world, currently ranked in the top ten of the world’s best universities. Sundrop Farms has entered into research partnership with UCL SERAus, which is training the next generation of energy and resources leaders.
